We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team. We support our brilliant customers who have diagnosed mental health issues. They live in either our 24 hour support purpose built blocks of 11 and 14 flats, or our dispersed properties across Worcestershire, which are in Worcester, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove. So you will be flexible working across both our accommodation based services and in the community.


We help our customers with everything from looking after their property to attending appointments with primary healthcare or community groups, to supporting through a crisis.

About our teamYoull be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.  To us were not just a team were a work family. We are lucky to have two managers for this large service, one is Katie who has been with Home Group for a huge twelve years across different roles, and has worked her way up to her Senior Client Service Manager post, and Sophie who has been with home Group for three and a half years; having started as a support worker within this service and working her way to Client Services manager. There are 18 of us in the team and we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!


Working hoursYoull work on a rota basis doing 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 until 20:00 and in which you take your turn working occasional weekends, late shifts and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you! As part of the service is 24/7, we may ask you to cover shifts here too which may include covering the sleep in shifts.


BankLooking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank.  You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.


About youYoure passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. You will have experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.


We help change our customers lives for the better. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, and their needs and aspirations. Youll work with our Senior Support Workers and external agencies to assess and engage support for our customers. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need, to successfully move on. Together well make a difference!


If youre not the biggest fan of technology, thats not a problem to us. You do need to know that we are quite a high tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However were glad to support you, if you need help.


To make sure our customers are well supported, its important that you have worked in a supported housing environment before. Dont worry, we wont drop you in the deep end, well help to you understand how things work at Home Group!


As this is a community based role, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a car insured for business purposes. Dont worry, well pay you expenses to cover this use!


If you are successful, we need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which well pay for.
