Senior Contract Analyst (UK&I focus)

We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who want to play a part in continuing to develop an outstanding Contracts team that collaboratively supports Illuminas commercial team, to ensure best in class industry contract terms and conditions and excellent customer experience.

As part of a vibrant EMEA Contracts team, you will be assisting with reviewing, advising and negotiating the terms and conditions, including tender documentation which relate to Illumina broad cutting-edge product portfolio.

Responsibilities and Duties

Drafting, negotiating and advising on agreements with respect to Illuminas product and services portfolio with Customers within the relevant sales district Assisting with the review of tender documentation Drafting, advising on and negotiating framework contracts with the key customers within the relevant district Recording details of the agreements, once agreed and finalised, on Salesforce.com Assessing risks in a commercially focused, business centric, manner in a way which facilitates the business Taking ownership in relation to contract related matters for your designated sales team (€œDistrict€) Attending District forecast calls, and other relevant District meetings as requested and approved from time to time Taking a proactive approach, and to keep in close contact with the districts you support regarding progress with matters which they are working on Assisting with the provision of training to relevant internal stakeholders with regards to the contracts process / public procurement laws developing and promoting public procurement knowledge across the company Ensuring contracts are approved, and documentation is executed in accordance with Illumina policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

You must have a sound knowledge and experience of European tendering procedures.  You must be able to demonstrate contract management experience.  You must hold a degree, have an equivalent professional qualification or relevant experience You must have strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex contracts. You must possess an understanding of negotiation strategies and tactics In-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions provisions Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills are required. You must have the ability to:

Solid knowledge of all MS Office products demonstrated

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience
5+ years of relevant work experience preferred. Ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating a variety of contracts.
