Your new company
A leading Mechanical Contractor specialising in Commercial, Hospitality and Residential projects is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their team. The company have been established over 15 years, covering all aspects of mechanical installations including heating, plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation and BMS systems.
Your new role
You will assist and produce priced tenders for multi-million pound projects across a variety of sectors. Quantify/measure/price and labour the extent of the works involved from mechanical drawings or BoQ and input onto estimation system. Maintain good relationships with prospective clients to promote further tender contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be from a mechanical building services discipline, either time served in Plumbing/ Pipefitting or have an HNC+ qualification in Building Services or Mechanical engineering. You will have at least 2 years' experience in a mechanical estimating role with a solid understanding of HVAC installations and systems. You will be commercially astute, a strong negotiator and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
