Role overview
As a Supply Early Years Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our students' education. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • You'll design and deliver high-quality lessons that cover all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • These lessons will ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster a love for learning.

  • Assessing and monitoring progress
  • You'll assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and report to parents and carers.
  • Your insights will guide each child's development journey.

  • Creating a nurturing environment
  • Providing pastoral care and support, you'll ensure a secure and positive learning environment.
  • Your warmth and encouragement will help children flourish.

  • Visual aids and resources
  • You'll develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources.
  • These tools will enhance learning experiences and engage young minds.

  • Promoting mathematical and creative development
  • Through stories, songs, games, drawing, and imaginative play, you'll encourage both mathematical and creative growth.
  • Every day will be an adventure!

  • What you need to be considered for this role
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching in EYFS or key stage 1
  • A thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the expectations for reception
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humour
