Vacancy: Project Manager
Salary: £27,668 per annum + 27 days' holiday exc. Bank Holidays. You will also receive time off between Christmas and New Year which does not affect your holiday allowance. Additional days' holiday are also given around the existing Easter and August Bank Holidays
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Fixed Term Contract (Until September 2019)

They support voluntary and community organisations throughout the county and have well established relationships with partners in both public and private sectors.
They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness.
The Role: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering all elements of our clients partnership project. The project seeks to provide support and work with individuals who are facing multiple and complex barriers to employment and who are furthest removed from the labour market. You will be responsible for line managing the project team and associated resources to ensure tasks are appropriately delegated, completed and performance monitored. You will also manage and deliver associated grant compliance, monitoring risk and reporting regularly to the CEO on project progress.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Day to day management of the project; developing, implementing an maintaining effective systems for reporting and monitoring project activity
Identifying, recording, reviewing and communicating project risks with the support of the Compliance, Contracts and Risk Officer to ensure risks are managed effectively or escalated to senior management
Monitoring partner performance against targets and providing support for financial submissions and claims, giving feedback to improve future submissions
Working with colleagues to prepare and audit financial claims and performance monitoring reports
Liaising with the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund (ESF) Auditors and any other bodies involved in the project to update and report on activity
Undertaking other appropriate duties as requested by the client
The Candidate: To be considered for the position of Project Manager you must have the ability to lead and manage a diverse partnership of organisations and have previous experience as a Project Manager who has a demonstrable track record of achievement. Previous experience of European Funded programmes would be advantageous. A driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel around the County
