The Government Internal Audit Agency provides objective insights to 75% of central government, so they can achieve better outcomes and value for money for the public – better insights, better outcomes. It’s an exciting time to be joining us, the agency having recently developed an ambitious vision for our next three years. We now need to turn this vision into action.

Are you a radical and creative thinker who enjoys developing and implementing exciting new ways of working? 

Are you interested in gaining experience in shaping an organisation as a member the Agency’s Board and Executive Committee? 

Are you motivated by leading and empowering teams to make an impact, across the top levels of government? 

We are seeking an individual who has an appetite for researching and trying new approaches to be our first Innovation and Development Director. You will be responsible for developing and owning our innovation strategy, leading the research and development of new approaches, products and services.  You will need to be creative in giving colleagues opportunities to get involved and will have experience of motivating others through change. You will need be confident championing new ways of thinking and build powerful relationships with our professional leaders, strategic partners and customers.

You will be a full member of the Agency’s Board and Executive Committee.
