Job Description

The Oakleaf Group provides rehabilitation services for men who have a brain injury or who suffer from other neurological conditions. Our main site is based in Hartwell, Northampton but we also have services in Duston, Weston Favell and Hunsbury.

We are looking for Community Support Workers to work in Duston, Weston Favell and Hunsbury and for Rehabilitation Support Workers to work in Hartwell. Posts are full or part-time and shifts will include a variety of days, nights and twilights. You will be working with a very skilled and specialised team of professionals and will receive an excellent training induction and training package to ensure everyone has the right knowledge and skills.

All staff work shifts to support our residents engage in their therapeutic, individual timetable and all residents are men working on individual rehabilitation goals following a brain injury caused by illness or an accident.

The successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining and delivering a high standard of holistic care. They will assist in the day-to-day running of all prescribed resident care packages and help with meeting all basic care needs. Each applicant must be motivated and enthusiastic with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Prior to starting work with us, all staff who work directly with the residents are subject to the usual DBS checks [used to be CRB] as well as standard employment checks).
