As a Senior IS Service Desk Officer, you will have good experience of working as part of a Service Desk providing first and second line support, and have demonstrable ability to produce clear easy to follow documentation. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the Infrastructure Team and the Service Desk Team, and become the first point of escalation for the IS Service Desk Team.

With a logical mind and outstanding problem skills, you will provide first class technical support cover to the organisation, aiming to resolve the majority of support incidents and requests on first contact. You will be able to demonstrate technical understanding of systems including Google Apps for Work and Google Admin, Citrix Xenapp, VMware vSphere.

You will assist the Infrastructure Team in managing, updating, diagnosing, and supporting in various areas of technology, including server infrastructure and virtualisation platforms, including VMware, vSphere and Citrix Xenapp. You will also assist the IS Security Analyst in maintaining Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Compliance by being part of a team who perform the monthly system patches and perform regular PCI checks.
