CHP is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association based in Chelmsford, Essex and was named one of the top 25 housing associations to work for in the Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations 2018.
In this role, you will carry out all plastering, tiling and minor bricklaying repairs, renewals, making good and other associated works in relation to CHP owned properties and other dwellings as instructed. In addition, you will carry out works in other associated trades as required.
You will have worked in a housing service/building maintenance environment or served a relevant apprenticeship. Able to work as part of a team and ensure works are carried out to meet manual handling and health/safety standards, you will be self-motivated and fully committed to customer service. In addition, you should have worked in occupied homes and a multi-skilled environment.
City and Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), together with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, are essential.
