Your new company, now seeking to employer a Senior Civil Project Manager, is a leading international construction and engineering company, boasting 150+ years of experience, providing high levels of construction expertise and delivering landmark projects in the build, civils, pharmaceutical, retail and technology spheres.

With a new major highway scheme starting in Northern Ireland, by joining this company, you will be breaking new ground by delivering on sustainable initiatives, constantly learning, and developing your knowledge, utilising new tools, strategies, and methods of project management, as well as training and supporting your team in the delivery of projects.

Your new employer will provide the opportunity to work on some of the country's largest and most innovative projects, and due to such success in contract awards as well as ambitious growth plans, they now require an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join their stable, operational management team.

Your new role

This role will be working with a Tier 1 Contractor on an upcoming major Highways scheme in Northern Ireland.
Your role as the Senior PM, will be to oversee the successful delivery of the project from inception to handover and ensure that all contractual and commercial responsibilities are delivered upon.
As part of the role, some of your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Working closely with the Regional Director, Assistant Project Manager, QS and Engineering team
- Ensuring delivery of the BIM strategy through managing relationships with direct and indirect staff, including consultants
- Monitor and ensure delivery of project stages in line with PEP, budget, operating and reporting on progress monthly
- Driving quality delivery for the projects HSEQ and zero emissions initiatives

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be managing key client and supplier relationships, reporting on and responsible for Project Delivery, working closely with HSEQS teams to ensure compliance with internal and external initiatives and Resource Planning for staff and supply chain.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role as Senior Project Manager, strong previous experience of delivering large scale major projects, ideally in civils / highways, will be required, as well as good knowledge of managing and working closely with both subcontractors, clients, and stakeholder requirements.
- 10+ years' project management experience delivering on 4+ civil projects
- 10+ years' experience managing and working closely with subcontractors and direct staff
- Experience of managing key stakeholder relationships including client management, supplier negotiations, staff management and supply chain planning
- Excellent communication skills, people skills and experience preparing and reporting on key project information
