Project Manager required to assist with a £100m Development Program with a landmark client

Hays are delighted to be working with a Landmark Infrastructure Client who are seeking to employ a Project Manager directly to join their internal, high-performing team.This company announced a development program valued at £100m last year and as such are seeking to enhance the existing engineering and projects team with an experienced Project Manager to assist with the implementation of this capital program.Your new role
Your new role will see you primarily be responsible for assisting the Engineering team to deliver a wide range of capital and maintenance projects with a focus on supporting the planning and execution of strategically important projects within a live operational environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in the company's future, reporting to the Director of Projects & Engineering, supporting the planning and execution of strategically important projects within a live operational environment.This role is contracted at 37.5 hours per week, with working hours being 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have 5+ years' experience in a Project Management position, have a solid knowledge of managing design, delivery and commissioning of building projects in a live environment, developing plans for scope, schedule, budget and resources, working with tender and pre-construction teams to make sure requirements are met whilst managing the design, drawings and approvals process in line with programme.It is also extremely desirable that you can display an ability to problem solve, deliver results, plan & maintain direction, work as part of a team, be customer focussed, communicate effectively and manage finance/budgets.What you'll get in return
