Job Description

Part time - 18.5 hours per week. Salary range: £35,550 to £47,722 per annum. Pro-rata £17,775 to £23,861 per annum.

We are looking for an experienced coach and coach educator to join our team and make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of sports coaching modules across the Institute of Sport. You will develop the academic provision in sports coaching, with potential to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.  

As part of this role you will develop the internal and external reputation of the Institute for excellence in sports coaching with particular reference to learning and teaching, research and/or consultancy. You will also actively engage in a range of activities that ensure learning and teaching quality and will engage in scholarly activity and research as agreed with your line manager. 

A good relevant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level in a related subject such as sports coaching, or equivalent professional coaching experience is an essential for this role.
