We are looking for a motivated Senior Lecturer in Coaching and Performance (Football) to join our team and make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of the BSc programmes in Football Coaching and Performance and support delivery on Sport and Exercise Science, Sport Science and Coaching and to the MSc programme in Sports Performance Analysis.  As a Senior Lecturer your time will be divided between teaching, teaching-related administration, assessment, research and income generation activities.

As part of the role you will undertake supervision of both student research work and work placements in Sports Performance Analysis, working with colleagues in the Institute of Sport.

You will also actively engage in a range of activities that ensure learning and teaching quality and will engage in scholarly activity and research as agreed with your line manager. 

A good relevant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level in a related subject, and an up to date knowledge of Sports Performance analysis within applied practice, are essential for this role.  Experience in design and implementation of notational analysis methods is required.  Early career applicants are also encouraged for this role.
