Service Manager – Care and Support
Permanent, Part Time (25 hpw)
Salary starts at £20,000 to £21,800 per annum, pro rata rising to £27,100 per annum, pro rata through performance plus On Call Shifts of £14.30 per session.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager (known internally by us a Client Services Manager) with great leadership abilities, to manage our team in providing support to 6 adults with learning disabilities, and also an additional 2 management of dispersed properties in Gateshead.

You will be managing a small but perfectly formed team of 2 in a well-established service within the local community, delivering person centred support and housing management.
As Team Leader you’ll get involved in lots of different duties supporting the Senior Service Manager in the delivery of efficient, high quality, cost effective and client centred services, empowering customers to live independently and making it a great place to work for our colleagues.  You’ll manage the service in line with contract requirements, be the support lead on referrals and assessments and ensure that a high quality, customer focused service is delivered at all times.

A bit about you

We want someone like you, an experienced Senior Support Worker who can bring creative and innovative solutions to problems and always strive to continuously improve service provision.  To flourish in the role, your passion for promoting independence and social inclusion will be matched by your focus on quality and efficiency. 

You’ll impress us with your leadership abilities and proven track record in achieving results through motivating colleagues to deliver high performance at all times. It’s also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and are great at building effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and external professionals so you can effectively engage support for our clients.

So join us and lead our team who are doing things differently and spending more time making a real difference to vulnerable people’s lives. You will be office based and there will be on call required.
