Job Description

Fancy a customer services role? Read on Excellent opportunity within the health care sector

Fancy a role where you will make a difference to thousands of people's lives every single day?
Where your work enables our team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver care and treatment to our patients?
If so, then have you considered working in outpatient admin services?
We can offer you variety and challenges, representing a local NHS Trust often as first point of contact with their patients.
Their Call Centre and booking team liaise with patients to make or rearrange their appointments and provide key information to enable them to attend for treatment.
Their reception teams are the first point of contact for patients attending their appointment and support them through their outpatient journey.
Both teams play a vital role in ensuring patient records are kept up to date, patients receive the correct appointment for the correct times as well as scanning key documentation which the clinicians need to ensure that every patient's appointment delivers excellent care.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals, with previous customer centre/call centre and data inputting work experience that will enable you to succeed in a busy environment.
You will need to be able to communicate information to patients clearly, so it's also useful if you have had some experience in a customer facing environment and you will need to use multiple IT systems therefore previous experience is required.
Whilst it's useful to have worked in the NHS previously, and to understand NHS targets regarding referral to treatment, this is not essential as they will provide you with all the training you need to thrive.
The initial role will be working on a temporary basis, paying £13.23 per hour and the hours are 8:30 - 5:00, Monday to Friday; you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles as they come available.
