Summer Cleaning Operatives

We have temporary part and full time jobs from June to end September. Early morning, day and evening work is available.

During the conference season our sites in Chichester and Bognor Regis become a large accommodation / conference facility. The cleaning team is integral in making sure that our clients have an excellent stay. 

Our cleaning team has responsibility for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of cleaning services, including the daily servicing of bedrooms, classrooms, corridors, toilets and changing rooms, ensuring they are kept clean and litter free.  

Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given, but it is essential you are reliable, flexible and have a proven commitment to the highest standards of cleaning.  You will need to work efficiently and proactively, with the ability to lift heavy objects like furniture and cleaning supplies as part of your daily routine.

This is one of the busiest times of the year so candidates will need to be organised, calm and friendly to work in this busy environment.  This post will suit applicants who ideally have no prior holiday commitments. Some weekend working will be required on our busiest weekends. You will be paid a month in arrears and accrued holiday entitlement will be paid as part of your salary. 

Successful applicants will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) which will be undertaken by the University on appointment.
