Your new company
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
This teaching job is a temporary assignment from April 2024 - July 2024
Your new role
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging English lessons to a diverse range of students
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to students where necessary
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
- Collaborating with other members of the English Department to develop and share resources and best practices
- Participating in departmental meetings and school-wide activities as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a UK school setting
- Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A commitment to providing a high-quality education for all students
- Enhanced DBS on update (if you do not have one, we can support you in obtaining one)
