Your new school
A Year 3 Class Teacher is required for a school Hays have proudly partnered with in Coventry. The school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher that set high expectations for their pupils and has a proven track record of good teaching.
This class consists of 30 pupils who are eager learners.
A successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic teaching team with excellent pupil progress rates.

Your new role as a Year 3 Class Teacher

As a Year 3 Class Teacher, some of your duties will require you to:

• Plan and prepare courses, schemes of work and individual lessons, appropriate to the needs, interests, experience, and existing knowledge of the pupils in one's class.
• Mark and assess pupils' work and to record their development, progress, and attainment, both at school and elsewhere.
• Maintain an attractive and stimulating classroom environment, and to contribute to displays in the school.
• Take part in whole-school reviews of policy and aims, and in the revision or formulation of guidelines.
• Evaluate and review one's own teaching methods, materials, and schemes of work, and to make changes as appropriate.

What you will need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experienced in whole class teaching over a sustained period.
• Up-to-date knowledge and experience in planning, delivering, and assessing The National Curriculum
• Understanding the principles of child protection in a primary school.
