Job Description

Salary range: £23,558 to £25,728 per annum pro rata, £18,846 to £20,582 per annum. Part time - 29.5 hours per week


As an integral member of the Careers and Employability team the primary function will be to take responsibility for the promotion and co-ordination of the work placement activities within the Business School, and provide employability information and advice for Business School students.


You will act as first point of contact to Business School students in relation to delivering advice, information and job hunting support about programme related placements, and will also have responsibility for administration of the placement provision, liaising with placement providers, and maintaining a strong portfolio of work placement opportunities for the benefit of the Business School, its students and client organisations. 

You will be required to work closely with the Business School team to share responsibility for ensuring that Business School students are offered a coordinated provision of placement, careers and employability services well matched to their individual needs.  The post holder will also support the Business School's Head of Programme Development and Student Centred Learning in facilitating the delivery of the placement provision within the Business School academic curriculum.

This role is for 29.5 hours per week (0.8 fte)
