Job Description

£25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience * Football Foundation offices - London About the Football Foundation Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the World. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country. The role The Digital & Social Media Officer will be responsible for delivering an ambitious social media strategy on behalf of the Foundation and its key partners. They will create regular, engaging multimedia content such as infographics and videos. They will also monitor, respond to or capitalise on posts about Foundation-related issues. The Digital & Social Media Officer will establish online partners to leverage further reach and increase our followers. They will produce the Foundations digital publications, manage the distribution lists, and police the Foundations social media policy. The role will also involve other key activities beyond digital and social, such as overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of all the Foundations media coverage and helping with or political engagement. What are we looking for? The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a relevant subject. They will have at least two years similar experience with a strong applied understanding of new media, including social media and e-newsletters. They will have a familiarity with video editing software and graphic design packages (such as Photoshop and Canva). We are looking for someone who can identify and harness the Foundations rich resources of statistics & case studies and package them in a way that results in viral pick-up across social media. They will be a creative, driven individual that can work with a range of partners and colleagues to arrange, collect and deliver engaging material (such time-lapse and drone footage). They will have exceptional written skills, and the ability to cope in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple projects. Interested?
