Meetings are held regularly on Tuesdays, at the end of the school day, with a maximum of 12 meetings a year, being four meetings a term. Clerks provide professional support to governing bodies to enable them to maximise the performance of the school and support the progress of pupils, playing a vital role in organising governing body meetings, maintaining an accurate record of their work, keeping them up to date with changes in relevant legislation and advising on governance issues. A comprehensive induction and support programme is available to all our Clerks and which includes termly Clerk network meetings and the availability of regular advice and support. Being part of the Academy Trust provides opportunities to share expertise and resources with other academies, as well as giving access to support from the University with the development opportunities that includes.
