Job Description

The University established a Multi-Academy Trust in 2013, and in July 2017 Ofsted commented on the quality and effectiveness of the HR service. With 12 academies and aspirations to be 30 strong, we believe it is essential our academies, located across Hampshire,including Portsmouth and West Sussex continue to benefit from a high quality and professional support provision as we grow. We are recruiting for a Senior Administrator to join our team to ensure accurate and timely submission of pension administration in line with statutory and Trust compliance and procedures,supporting and advising academies on payroll issues impacting pension. In addition, you will contribute to the wider overall effectiveness of a professional central Trust administration as demands require, providing general administrative support that contributes to the quality of the Trust provision which may include project work, liaising with staff across the Trust, University,external partners and agencies as required. With a high degree of autonomy, this will require a clear understanding of competing priorities and an ability to manage a diverse workload. Applicants for this post must have relevant currentexperience of undertaking LGPS and TPS pension administration and able toundertake a wide variety of general administrative tasks to tighttimescales. You will need to be a pro-active team member with a people focused approach, and able to work confidently with minimum supervision. The post is based at our Bognor Regis Campus but you may be required to work occasionally in Academies across the Trust. This role is part time for 22.2 hours per week.
