Gas Servicing Engineer

The Association manages over 1,500 units of accommodation across 24 local authorities mainly in the North East of England. 35 hours per week Monday to Friday Salary £29,125 rising to £30,474 over four years plus allocated company vehicle (for business use only) With responsibility for the gas servicing of the Associations 992 domestic properties, including minor repairs and fault diagnosis, you will provide a customer oriented service ensuring the Associations targets in respect of gas servicing and related customer satisfaction are met. The successful candidate will be Gas Safe registered with a minimum of five years experience of servicing domestic properties and an excellent knowledge of HSE legislation in respect of gas servicing. You will need to be self motivated, with excellent organisational skills as you will have to organise and take responsibility for your own workload. It is also essential that you have the ability to work on your own initiative and are IT literate and able to produce regular reports to maintain the gas servicing programme. The role may involve some overnight stays due to the geographic spread of the Associations properties, although this can be minimised by effective planning of the gas servicing programme.
