Salary: £26,018 - £32,630 per annum (pro rata) inc. LW Location: The Printworks, London Hours/days per week: 28 per week (4 days) Contract: 12 month fixed term contract Closing date: 23:59 on Sunday 4 February 2018 Interview date: To be confirmed We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative designer to take the lead on managing the graphic design workflow at Friends of the Earth. You will thrive on the cycle of; Inspire, Create, Repeat and will have expert knowledge in the software, and other tools used to bring ideas to life and the aesthetic sensibilities to do it with a deep beauty. Working directly with the Creative Lead you will come up with innovative and bold design ideas, in line with current trends. We want you to inspire others in our team and across our organisation. The type of work you will do is as diverse as the issues you work on ranging from Fracking to Bees to Clean Air, youll work primarily on design and print as well as some digital design. Whatever your background, its your attitude, ideas, and open-mindedness to create up to date exceptional work that we are looking for. A natural talent, youll have a strong portfolio, and excellent scheduling and project management skills, youll be able to work within budgets in-line with client expectations. You will have print buying experience and be able to manage the production of jobs from beginning to end. You will think about creative ways to solve old problems, too! Our creative team is currently transforming. We have a new Creative Lead, which also coincides with a transformation in the organisation as a whole. You will work alongside digital content teams.
