Friends of the Earth campaigns for solutions to environmental problems, which make life better for people.
In order to support our work, we have a job opportunity for an organised individual with a keen eye for detail to join the team as a Finance Assistant.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of income. Familiarity with processing direct debits, standing orders and cheques is required.
Possessing a good understanding of accounting principles and with excellent attention to detail, youll have experience of spreadsheets, financial reconciliations, and computerised accounting packages, preferably Sun Accounts.
Any knowledge of a customer relations management system (CRM) such as CARE and gift aid would be useful but isnt essential. Frequent travel to our Luton office will also be required in the first few months.
