Job Description

Salary up to: £20,989 per annum plus allowance of £664 per annum This position requires working as part of a shift pattern rota including weekends, early and late working. We are looking for a versatile post holder with recent caretaking experience to join our Estate Management Team. You must be flexible, proactive, well organised and motivated with a customer focused, helpful and flexible approach to work. It's important you can work as part of a team working on a rota basis and some flexibility will be required to cover for operational requirements including staff sickness or increased peaks of activity.  This active and "hands on" role is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of a range of Estate Management activities including locking and unlocking buildings, room set ups and basic maintenance in halls of residence and on site working with a variety of University teams,  including Cleaning Services and Conference and Accommodation.  You will provide an efficient and effective service, to ensure that the buildings and campus at both the Bishop Otter and Bognor Regis sites are an appropriate, safe and secure environment for students, staff and all visitors.
