Job Description

Three Non-Executive Directors Clinical, Finance, Transformational 3 - 4 days per month on average - £14,000 per annum Birmingham Womens and Childrens NHS Foundation Trust brings together Birmingham Childrens Hospital and Birmingham Womens Hospital under one united NHS Foundation Trust the first of its kind in the UK. With an Outstanding rating from our regulator and commended for our high performing Board and executive team, the Trust needs Board members of the highest calibre to support our development as a national leader in the delivery of services to children, young people and women. Every member of our team is equally important and this is an exciting time to join the Board with a new Chair, Sir Bruce Keogh joining us next year and with a vision to be a world class organisation. We have the momentum to make real and lasting change; reshaping services to meet the needs of our local community and beyond. At this exciting time, we are seeking three experienced leaders to join and complement our Board as Non-Executive Directors. You will bring sound judgement, a collaborative style and the ability to contribute to a strategic and world class board operating at the highest level. We are particularly keen to hear from those who bring an understanding and connection to the diverse communities that we serve. The roles For one of the roles we are seeking an individual with broad networks and a track record of leading complex organisations through transformational change. For the second we are seeking a clinical leader who is passionate about quality and can support the development of our world class services. And for the third position we are seeking a strong finance professional with broad leadership experience who will chair either our Auditor Finance Committee.
