Job Description

£35,550 to £47,722 per annum pro rata, £17,775 to £23,861 per annum The Department of English and Creative Writing is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to teach on our BA in Creative Writing. Our students are encouraged to explore the richness and breadth of the subject and as a Senior Lecturer in the department, you will join a team a unique and diverse team of academic critics, literary theorists and practicing writers, enabling students to develop their skills as readers, critics and writers of literature.  You will be a practicing and published writer with an interest in new digital platforms, software, and technologies which can enable new forms of storytelling and offer new opportunities for writers.  With a qualification at Masters Level and ideally a Doctorate in a relevant subject area, you will be committed to maintaining and developing your knowledge of the subject area and expected to contribute to the research and income generation activities of the department.
