Job Description

Across Worcester

Hays Social Care is currently looking for Residential Support Workers who have relevant experience within the healthcare sector to work across various services in Worcester. As a Support Worker, you will need to be passionate about working with children, have a deep understanding of safeguarding, as well as a can-do attitude with willingness to complete training courses or work towards a Level 3 qualification equivalent if not already obtained.

You also must be flexible with working hours and available to work shifts on a rota basis. This includes morning shifts, waking nights, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Skills Required:

- At least 6 months experience in a relevant healthcare role within the last 2 years
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care obtained or working towards (desirable)
- Passionate about people and caring for vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with service users
- Passionate about working with children
- Empathetic and understanding
- Willingness to enhance skills with professional training and development
- Understanding of safeguarding
