Job Description

Salary: £15,807 - £18,764 Working 36.5 hours per week Various Depots, Birmingham Ref: PL2132017 Waste Management have a number of vacancies for Refuse Loaders. You will need experience of operating machinery/equipment, have experience of domestic refuse, recycling or equivalent and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers including walking a minimum of 5 miles per day. Team working skills are required to complete the daily allocated work, together with excellent communication skills to engage with residents and colleagues. If you are successful at the telephone screening stage, you will be invited to attend a short recruitment open day event on Saturday 16 September. The recruitment open day event can accommodate a maximum of 300 participants and admission will be by production of an invitation letter only. Once we have reached 300 people, the phone lines will be closed. At the recruitment open day, you will find out more about the job and you will be given an application form to take away and complete.
