Job Description
As the full time Department Administrator you be required to provide efficient, effective and professional administrative support for staff, students and other stakeholders for a range of programmes and activities within the department of History and Politics.
You will manage student enquiries face-to-face, over the phone and via email, providing a supportive environment that enhances the student experience. In addition you will effectively support administrative and academic colleagues, arranging meetings and departmental events in addition to preparing programme handbooks and maintaining course and student files.
With high standards of customer service, you will be an accomplished administrator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage and prioritise workload from a number of individuals with competing time lines. You should be a pro-active team player who brings an enthusiastic, flexible and helpful attitude to work. Excellent IT skills are essential, as is accuracy and attention to detail.
