Your new company
We are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join Bridgend Council's Network Team. As part of this multidisciplinary team, you will work with a range of professionals to offer support to individuals to achieve their goals and remain independent; working mainly, but not exclusively, with older adults and those affected by frailty, chronic ill health and disability. The team has an MDT approach calling on the skills of District Nurses, Physio, OT CPN, Pharmacy SALT and Wellbeing workers to give holistic support to adults living within the area. We also have strong relationships with our colleagues in the voluntary sector.
Your new role
Bridgend are offering hybrid work where you will be working from home 2 days per week, and in the work setting for 3 days. They are looking for social workers to work full time, but if you are someone looking for part-time hours, then they are open to this too!
What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work Degree and registered with Social Care Wales
- CPEL completed with at least 3 years' experience
- Full UK driving licence
