Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Director - Traded Risk - Consultancy with a global, financial services focused research, risk & analytics consultancy. London.
Roles & responsibilities:
  • Provide domain expertise, leads transformation capabilities to their banking and capital markets clients.
  • Practice supports complex regulatory and business-critical change programmes for large commercial and investment banks
Business Growth :
  • The role would be instrumental to work with Sales team for client proposals, designing & delivery solutions across Risk or Finance transformation/change management projects
  • Be Tuned to market, thus Identifying, and developing opportunities in line with upcoming requirements of global markets and Banking industry
  • Grow footprint in the UK across Tier 1, Tier 2 and regional banks.
  • Leading our client's thought leadership agenda in relevant areas
Program management:
  • Provide expertise and capability building in the front office, risk, or finance technology and transformations area
  • Interacting with senior client stakeholders, and advising them on all aspects of their transformation and regulatory change programs
  • Responsible for overall quality of deliverables, managing and leading client projects
People Leadership
  • Lead and manage people across various project.
  • Take up ownership of hiring and staffing against project
  • Upskill internal talent to meet the market demands.
The Successful Applicant
Exciting opportunity for a Director - Traded Risk - Consultancy with a global, financial services focused research, risk & analytics consultancy. London.
Experience, Skills and Competencies
  • Strong academic grounding in finance, mathematics, or related quantitative discipline
  • Additional professional qualifications such as PMI / Prince2, FRM/PRM/CQF would be preferred
  • Recent experience of program managing large change projects / business transformation projects across front office, risk and finance functions like capital markets, sales and trading, wealth management, regulatory transformations, data quality and controls etc
  • Excellent understating of front to back front office, risk and finance processes and technology infrastructure of global markets and commercial banks and expertise in at least one-off sales and trading, finance controls and risk management areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of organisation planning, resource mobilisation and problem solving
  • Highly experienced in dealing with executive sponsors and senior management cross line of business priorities
  • Candidates should strong business development skills, in addition to the above, as the role will be focused on business growth as well as project execution
  • This is a leadership role, hence the successful person should have experience of building, leading and developing a successful team
