Estates Surveyor (commercial property management) required by NIHE on an ongoing temporary contract basis

Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), to recruit an Estates Surveyor to join their Commercial Property team in Belfast on an ongoing temporary contract basis.
Your new role
You will manage NIHE's Commercial Portfolio in locations across Northern Ireland and maximise its collectable income for the Landlord Services Division.
The Commercial Portfolio is made up of standalone business units and units dispersed amongst domestic stock, situated on different levels within blocks/buildings.
Management of the units will include inspections and site visits at locations across Northern Ireland.What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have:A degree, or equivalent level of qualification, in Estate Management with 2 years' relevant experience in Commercial Property Management within an Estate Agency (Commercial Section) or the Public Service.Relevant experience should demonstrate managing commercial tenancies, demonstrating working with others to deliver business results, including experience working with tenants and prospective tenants.Exceptionally, individuals not holding the above level of qualifications, but with at least 3 years' relevant experience in Commercial Property Management within an Estate Agency (Commercial Section) or the Public Service, may also be considered.You will also need a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables you to meet the requirements of the post in full.What you'll get in return
