Senior Campaigner - Political, Planning and Legal Team Salary: �36,275 - �41,400 per annum Location: London Hours/days per week: 35 hours / 5 days per week / 1.0 FTE (full time) Contract: 12 months fixed term (sabbatical cover) Closing date: 6 January 9am Interview date: 13 January 2017 A politically savvy and natural leader, you will use your expertise to guide Friends of the Earth?s major and smaller campaigns to create real impact. You?ll will manage a team of 7 to ensure their skills and knowledge are well used across the organisation. Your team will also lead the work to remove barriers to campaigning for the benefit of people and our planet; as well as lead our response to Brexit. Your knowledge of UK politics and how this can shape impactful change, including how digital is enabling new and effective campaign approaches is essential, as is the ability to manage a high performing team. You will have proven excellent communication skills, written, verbal, for broadcasts, public meetings and for when dealing with senior politicians and business leaders. Needless to say, an understanding of regulatory requirements a campaigning charity has to adhere to is essential.
