Job Description

Based in Skelmersdale, Nutriculture UK Ltd is a manufacturer and wholesaler of hydroponic equipment. We are also pioneers of some of the industrys best known growing methods. Due to on-going company expansion we currently have a vacancy in our Service Desk team. The Service Desk is a vital component in developing relationships with our customers, as they are the first point of contact that our customers have with our business. The job is entirely telephone based and the main priority is to take orders accurately and enter the order onto our system. There is also an expectation that Service Desk Administrators will help out with sales initiatives by discussing upsells, cross sells and any offers happening. The successful applicant will possess the following: A positive and helpful approach Attention to detail Experience of telephone sales Basic computer/data inputting knowledge Willingness to learn and take on tasks as and when required As you can see, part of the role requires some experience of selling over the phone. To be clear, we are not a hard sell environment, but we do expect Service Desk Administrators to discuss offers and promotions. We also expect cross-selling and up-selling activity to happen when customers call to place orders.
