Nottingham Playhouse is an ambitious and established producing theatre, one of the largest outside London. It has excellent production facilities and creates up to 13 in-house productions per year for its 750-seat main house, 100-seat studio, and tours, (national, in the West End and in found spaces, and international). Nationally recognised for its ambitious new writing programme and excellent production values Nottingham Playhouse� mission is to create world-class theatre that is as diverse as our community. Following the announcement that Giles Croft is to step down, the Chief Executive and Trustees seek an inspirational, talented and energetic Artistic Director to lead Nottingham Playhouse through its next phase. The successful candidate will have a track record of creating artistic work of the highest calibre. They will have a strong and inspirational creative vision and the ability to communicate that. They will have a strong commitment to nurturing creative talent, to new writing, developing relationships with our partners and audiences and to attracting the highest calibre of artist to Nottingham.
