Maintenance Surveyor

The Association manages 1504 units of accommodation across 24 local authorities mainly in the North East of England. Maintenance Surveyor (35 hours per week) Fixed term 12 month contract Salary �28,836 (plus company van for business use) With responsibility for ensuring that all work is carried out to the Association's standards you will provide a pre and post inspection service on day to day repairs and planned & cyclical maintenance projects; including estimating, compiling specifications & schedule of works for tender/quotation and liaising with contractors and residents. The post will be based from our head office in Darlington and will cover the Teesside, York, Leeds & Hull areas. Applicants must hold a full driving licence and possess a relevant building or technical qualification with proven experience within this environment. You will need to be self-motivated & well organised, able to work on your own initiative & as part of a team and have a knowledge of budgetary control.
