Job Description

With member unions representing more than six million working people from all walks of life the TUC campaigns for a fair deal at work and for social justice at home and abroad. Fixed Term to 30 June 2017 35 Hours per week Based at Congress House London WC1B 3LS Grade 7 42,486 including LW rising incrementally to 44,025 pa We are looking for an individual to be part of a national team responsible for the development and delivery of online education programmes and services to TUC affiliates and internal and external stakeholders. The postholder will be responsible for the instructional design and development of innovative e-learning solutions and educational content that deliver the essential skills and knowledge union representatives require to perform their roles effectively. As well as well experienced in a similar position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:- Proven experience of interpreting learning requirements and designing creative and effective e-learning solutions. Working with SMEs from both private and public organisations Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills Excellent instructional design skills Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft packages, (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel) and web-based tools, social media platforms and internet use Good visual design skills The closing date for completed applications for this post is 12.00 noon, Wednesday 18th May 2016.
