The role
The role of Communications Assistant is key to supporting the Communications Team in raising the profile of the organisation, promoting activity and engaging audiences and participants in our work. This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in communications and marketing in the arts and literature sector. WCN is in the position to offer the successful applicant unrivalled access to a diverse and innovative programme of work across the literary, literature development, education and freedom of expression sectors.
About You
You will have a strong interest in literature and a genuine interest in the marketing and communications functions within an organisation, with at least one years experience of working in a communications support role. You will bring with you excellent writing skills and experience of using web and social media in a communications environment. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a commitment to a high standard of work with an eye for detail.
