Writers Centre Norwich (WCN) is a leading literature organisation committed to developing the artistic and social impact of creative writing, reading and literary translation.
About the role
The role of Programme Assistant will provide high level administrative and organisational support to the Programme Team as it grows and develops its artistic and learning programmes. This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the arts and literature sector. The adaptability, experience and team working that will be necessary to fulfil this role will enable the post holder to develop valuable skills and work with an exciting range of writers, educationalists, performers and partners.
About you
You will bring with you a strong interest in literature and in working in artistic and community settings. You will have excellent communication, writing and IT skills and at least one years experience of administrative support in a busy office. You will have the ability to manage a demanding workload across multiple projects in a professional and confident manner. You will have good interpersonal skills together with the ability to get on with people of all ages and a commitment to a very high standard of work.
