Business Case Development Salary: circa �75k per annum Salary Band: SCS1 Contract Type: Fixed Term for 2 years Number of Posts: 1 Hours: Full-time The Role The Palace of Westminster Restoration and Renewal Programme has been established to tackle the significant work that needs to be done to protect the heritage of the Palace of Westminster and ensure it can continue to serve as home to the UK Parliament in the 21st century and beyond. Given the poor condition of the fabric and systems of the Palace, the House of Commons Commission and House of Lords House Committee have agreed that a major programme of restoration and renewal work must be carried out to protect and preserve the legacy of the Palace for future generations. This post will lead on preparing the Outline Business Case for the Restoration & Renewal of the Palace of Westminster, in order to meet the full requirements of the Approving Authorities. The Person The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience: Experience of writing a business case for a large scale multi-million pound programme and managing complex contracts and consultants Understanding of public sector procurement strategy and policy Actively promotes joint working and partnerships with senior internal and external stakeholders and other organisations to meet shared goals.
