SSAFA assists both serving personnel and veterans. We provide experienced, non-judgmental and friendly advice, as well as a variety of practical services which cover a range of social, family and financial issues. All our dealings are confidential and anybody who approaches us for help is treated with dignity and respect.
Working directly to the Head of Welfare, you will have day-to-day responsibility for this highly rewarding opportunity to supervise the SSAFA Forcesline Information Helpline; ensuring that those who contact us receive excellent levels of customer service and that their requests for information are fulfilled.
To succeed you will need:
- To have an interest in people, their problems and a keen desire to help
- The ability to provide creative, and practical solutions to clients problems
- The ability to prioritise a fast moving workload, full of variety and interest
- The ability to engage quickly with enquirers and team members
- Excellent communication skills
