Donor Development Officer

London, EC3R 8AD We are seeking a new Donor Development Officer to join our growing and dynamic Fundraising team. SSAFA is about to launch an ambitious three year fundraising strategy to increase our voluntary income and fund new projects and specialist services for the benefit of our Armed Forces and their families. You will deliver the strategic requirements of the individual programme, working closely with the Individual Giving Manager on implementation. You will focus on the retention of existing individual donors and maximising net income; managing SSAFA�s in memoriam giving programme. To carry out this role successfully you will have: - Current knowledge of individual supporter trends - Ability to communicate effectively with a cross section of individuals - Experience of working in a charitable environment - Ability to be organised, plan ahead and work to agreed timeframes.
