Adult Support Worker - Supported Living, Learning disabilities, physical disabilities

Your new company
We have fantastic opportunities for hard-working and dedicated support workers to work with a local company supporting adults within support living settings. Our client provides high quality care and support to adults with complex needs including brain injury. The role is for full-time hours for days, including alternate weekends on a rota basis. There is also the option for additional sleep ins, but this is not essential. The hourly rate starting from £11.75 per hour.
Your new role
Within the role of Support Worker, you will support individuals in their everyday lives, supporting them to live as full a life as possible, promoting and encouraging independence and to engage with the community. You will provide physical, emotional support and health care of the highest standard, ensuring that respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Be a compassionate and caring individual with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • 6 months UK-based care experience is essential
  • Full right to work - no sponsorship
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Care Certificate and NVQ's desirable but not essential
  • Own transport is an advantage
