You'llbe working for a successful multidisciplinary consultancy based in Motherwell,who are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to jointheir Building Services team. This consultancy works on a variety of projectsacross Scotland's Central Belt as well as UK wide, operating across commercial,residential, Industrial, education and more sectors.
Your new role
You'llplay a key part leading the Electrical Design team and will be at the forefrontof multiple projects as well as have the opportunity to mentor junior teammembers. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing Electrical systems for building services projects. Preparing technical reports and specifications. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborating with other engineers and architects. Mentoring junior team members. What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Electrical design engineering on Building Services projects. Strong knowledge of Electrical systems and building codes. Excellent communication and business development skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. What you'll get in return
