A well known Housing Association, with more than 23,000 properties across London, the South East and the Midlands are looking for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract, servicing a patch of properties across the West London area. Our client has a backlog of work which needs to be completed asap, hence the requirement for temporary support. Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure the quality of work is carried out to specific standards.You will be inspecting day-to-day repair work, small project-based refurbishments and emergency repair work.
All the work is carried out on domestic properties. Therefore, you will need to have experience of working in both single dwellings and medium to large estates.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have experience of managing repairs and maintenance issues within the housing sector.Working within the public sector will also be desirable but not essential.
Good IT skills as you will be required to write detailed reports and specifications.
