Hays Social Care is currently seeking Residential Support Worker's to join on a part-time or full-time basis for services across Birmingham.
Ideal candidates will possess an NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards the level 3 qualification while in post. Applicants should possess previous experience within the care sector, ideally within residential care. Further job support and training will be offered to all Support Workers including induction, mandatory training, restraint reduction training, and further career development. You must be flexible with working hours and available to work shifts on a rota basis including morning shifts, waking nights, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Skills Required:

- At least 6 months experience in a Support Worker role within the last 2 years
- Experience working with children (desirable)
- Passionate about people and caring for vulnerable individuals
- Confidence in making decisions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with service users
- Confident in completing administrative work
- Passionate about working with children
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Empathetic and understanding - Willingness to enhance skills with professional training and development
