Chefs for The Open at Royal Troon £16-£19

OVERVIEW

We are recruiting for experienced chefs to work at 'The Open' Golf Tournament.

You must have a minimum of 4 years experience as a chef & be familiar in a large scale banqueting setting.

Must Drive as transport at your shift time is not guaranteed.

Only apply for this role if you have experience in events/arenas/stadiums/fine dining.

We need people who are willing to work hard long hours & have a can do attitude.

You will be working VERY long days, often starting at 5am and working until 10pm.

The event is 8 days long at the Royal Troon Golf Club.

You will work as part of a brigade of chefs to achieve a successful service for your lead chef. Working on A section and helping out wherever needed.

Pay between £16 - £19 per hour.

Requirements for the role

Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates - we can provide if needed.

You will have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Cook & plate to specification.

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard

Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation

Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.

Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance

Storing deliveries in a correct & timely manner

Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance

Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.
