BI Developer/Web Developer

Remote work

6 month contract

Inside IR35

£46.67 per hour

An ideal candidate would be a web developer with experience using ASP.NET who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to cross train in BI, Database and Application development.

The successful Web Developer - ASP.NET/BI Developer/Business Intelligence will
Work with the Business Improvement architect team to develop BI and application solutions
Work to deliver database and application solutions, providing an integrated Self Service tool kit. Including hands-on deliver and development
Delivering BI solutions in line with the priorities set out and agreed through the Business Improvements processes
Providing solutions to manage data-sets and updates
Working on solutions and applications using the latest versions of C# and ASP.NET, SQL Server, on Windows platforms.
Development on current projects as well as new projects at a very early stage.

Preferred Experience for the position of Web Developer - ASP.NET/BI Developer/Business Intelligence
- Good knowledge of C# and ASP.NET, SQL Server AND Reporting Services
- An understanding of C# .NET, Javascript, JQuery or equivalent, CSS, HTML, Object Oriented programming, debugging and source control is essential
- A maths/engineering/science or IT related degree
- Comfortable in a client facing role
Candidate will need to demonstrate a good level of communication skills.
Experience in the use and implementation of BI tools and applications
Experience in the creation and implementation of BI reports for users
Experience in SAP a benefit, SAP transactions and SAP reporting capabilities across the modules, especially Finance, procurement and Projects. An understanding of Success Factors would be beneficial.
Experience in the application and rules of information assurance, which could include DPA
A willingness to support colleagues and provide support to other teams when required.
